One of the most popular Indian non-veg gravy dishes. Is known to originate from Delhi. Butter Chicken is middle-spiced, soft taste and extremely delicious. For those, like me, pure non-veggies, a perfect treat anytime. Based on ingredients such as butter, tomato and chicken.
So what are the ingredients and what to do with them:
First prepare the marinade:
Mix ½ kg of curd, 1 tea spoon of ginger garlic paste and 1 tea spoon of red chili powder. Add salt to taste. Take 700 gm of raw chicken, cut it into pieces and dip into the marinade. Keep it mixed with marinade in the refrigerator overnight. Then roast the chicken in an oven( tandoor) for 5-10 min and take it out till it’s not completely ready. Now you need to prepare a gravy.
For that heat 100 gm of white butter. Add in melted butter ½ tea spoon of Black cumin seeds, ½ kg of pureed tomato, ½ tea spoon of sugar, 1 tea spoon of red chili powder and salt. Add chicken in a gravy along with 100 gms of fresh cream, 75 gms of white butter, 4 green chilies(sliced) and ½ tea spoon of crushed fenugreek leaves
Serve hot.
Better with rice or naan.
