I have been very wisely using citibank from last 8 months. I had done evEry payment on time and had quite a good experience of using it otherwise.
But recently I was very upset with the way my dispute have been handeled by them. There was one of my transaction on phone for PVR cinemas for Rs. 420 which failed because of communication error. I tried this transaction again and again to my surprise I met communication error. there had been no reference nos. passed on to me and there was even no confirmation of the transaction. And the total amount was Rs. 840.
But even then it got reflected in my account. I requested a dispute enquiry but to my surprise, for 2 months there was no response from either of the party. And after 2 months again this transaction got reflected in my statement.
And citibank said that they have carried out the dispute enquiry and found me guilty. I am no fool that on the same day and in 10 minutes I will make the same transaction and that too for the same amount. I will definitely lodge this complaint in the consumer court. This is my hard earned money and every single penny matters to me.
Being a citi cardmember I was expecting to be the part of enquiry. But that was not been done.
All my initial expectations is broken and I am now completely dissatisfied with citibank.
