I have been a regular customer of India rush, a website which I used to recommend to my friends for all women ethnic wears. But my recent experience turned out to be very bitter.
I raised return request for two products #100179657 and #100179630 on India rush.
I returned the products and refund is processed in the form of IndiaRush credits with the validity of 3 months or credits will be lapsed.
Please note that the cost of each product is Rs 1999 each(total Rs 3998) which is not a small amount.
and presently I am in need of money where every penny counts.
I called customer care and requested to refund the money back to my bank account as I don’t find anything on India rush portal which I really need and should buy urgently. I don’t want to buy something just to use my credits, this is definitely not going to satisfy me on money spent. The response was "Refund will be done in the form of Credits only, we can not do anything on it .This is our policy"
Then, I asked them to connect me to higher management to talk about this, I was told that I will be receiving call from them within 24 hrs but I din’t hear from anyone yet. For every mail, response is the same with no solution and helpless statement that "credit has been credited".
I am feeling as management/customer care all are escaping.
This is not the first time that I ordered something on India rush or any shopping website and raised for refund. I have always received refund back from india rush. Keeping this flexibility in mind and previous good experience I placed orders without worries. And the response from Customer care was unbelievable.
I really regret about placing any order on your website as I am’unnecessarily forced’ to loose Rs 4000 as per the policy. Rather I would have placed order on bigger players Jabong, Amazon or Myntra for better customer experience.
Where I prefered IndiaRush over the bigger players, I should be pamppered as customer instead of being harrased.
I do understand that there are strategies to increase business and make profit and to keep customer intact but I feel with your strategy, customer would be only afraid hitting your website by next time. Even I am cautious and my friends chain would be cautious too.
