Ordered a samsung galaxy s3 from indiatimes.com on 25th sept. They promised to deliver it in 5-7 working days. ordered a screen guard and cover separately in anticipation. waited patiently till 3rd oct. Then finally when I called customer care, they said they are raising a complaint. Never even bothered to check the status, I think they must have been trained to immediately start a complaint to pacify the customer. I asked him plz tell me the status, to which he said some problem from merchant side.
In my complaint the resolution date was 20th October (what the fu*n, I m eagerly waiting for my new phone). I called up and blasted the customer care guy, he said it will be resolved in 2 days. 2 days later I called up again, they said wait for 1 more day.
I was really pissed off by then. anyways I waited for another day and called them again as the status never changed from to b shipped. I was really annoyed and asked them to cancel my order. he said it will take them 2 days to cancel the order. this was too much for me, I shouted my lungs out and asked the poor fellow why on earth he needed 2 days to cancel my order when it took me just few seconds to place that. he said we have to mail the merchant. I threatened him with legal consequences, if he din cancel it right then. he put me on hold and consulted his senior.
Finally he said my order would be cancelled right away and refund initiated in 5-7 days. I dont know what was deterring him till then. Overall worst experience on a shopping site. this discourages users like me from shopping online and sets a bad example.
fortunately hv very gud experinces with flipkart, ebay and myntra, otherwise this wud hv been my last attempt.
