I have read lots of reviews about people having BAD experience while shopping at Indiatimes.com. Here is my experience, a good one for change! I was looking for a Camera, 6 Mega Pixels, Nikon. I went to their showroom in Bangalore and it was priced at 15, 000. I decided to check with online shopping websites. I found prices on ebay, indiatimes, rediff, indiaplaza were almost the same, but on indiatimes there was an offer that they will give 256 mb card+ carry case. So I went ahead a bought the product from indiatimes. I got the product delivered in 5 days and it was really well packed. It contained all that was mentioned on website plus it had NIKON battery charger(worth 2500) also along with it.
I was really happy as I was not expecting anything extra, but the charging cable for the battery charger was missing. So I went to Indiatimes website and gave them the order number and asked them to look into it. Within 2 days I got a call and they said they will refund me 150 rupees through indiatimes gift voucher and I can purchase the charging cable from outside. I purchased the charging cable for 60 rupees. Not just that, I got 15% cash back for my purchase(I got a gift voucher for 1352 rupees).
I was happy and with the gift vouchers I purchased again from indiatimes and this time also the products were good in quality, as mentioned on website and were nicely packed and delivered in time. I am happy with the products and also NiKON camera cost me round about 8000 rupees which was almost half the quote that I got in the showroom. This was my first shopping at indiatimes and I am really happy and satisfied with it.
There is a catch, although most of the products that are sold online are without warranty, so it is risky to buy online.
