They Ship Faulty Products & Don't Refund The Money

I sent this complaint to Ministry of Consumer Affairs as they would not issue a Rs 1400 refund & warned them " I have lodged a complaint with the ministry of consumer affairs for now , next will be a legal notice for cheating to your Chairmain. "


Their beleated response :

Thanks for sending complaint your complaint details as followsTitle : Non Reciept of refund from India TimesComplaint ID : 20076Complaint Details : I ordered a Pop Corn Maker thru India Times Shopping the internet portal of Times Internet Ltd. Order Number 111658371 , Sub Order Number 2089688 . The product I paid for was costing Rs 1400 , one that was shipped was costing Rs 999 . It came without a proper tax paid invoice or the vendor’s or details of Times Internet . It was returned by me. They have not issued me a refund . It is my second bad experience with them . Earlier they had shipped rotten mangoes as gift.Consequences : Suffered a loss of Rs 1400 as they have not refunded the amount to me.We are also happy to inform you that you could also avail of the free HELPLINE service by calling the Toll Free Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000Thank you for lodging your complaint with us.The CORE Team
