Not a Right Choice...

The first time, on an experiment basis I tried to fly INDIGO ; 6E- 105 from Pune to bangalore on 18/2/07.Offcourse it is true that I had paid more for this ticket than on KF.. ( for 17/2 Bangalore-Pune by Kingfisher cost me Rs. 3, 800/-, where as on Return by INDIGO for 18/2,   I paid Rs. 3, 824/-.        Both tickets were booked just 2 days in advance.) Anyway.


The Aircraft arrived from Delhi on time and we boarded the aircraft on time. Infact we took off before schedule, at 5/20 pm we were cruising in air, and the dep. time is 05/25 pm.!!!. Good. Check-in, Baggage screening, boarding, Interiors of the aircraft are all perfect. But some how I did not like the approach of the Cabin Crew. When I asked for cotton (for ears ), the attedant responded rudely ( I mean it) saying.. we dont have cotton on this flight..


As if she was doing me a big favour by giving that information. I was surprised with her response.. But doubly surprised at her behaviour. If you are not carrying cotton pcs. or if you cant afford to provide one, fine.. But One can be polite in expressing the same. If this were the behaviour of the Cabin Crew, how can one sit and enjoy longer and delayed flights, say Delhi-Bangalore etc.. I wondered .. ( I was lucky.. our flying time was just 55 mins.) Reaching home I told my wife: I think this is my first and last flight with Indigo air.!!!!. As b’coz , delayed flights, no snacks during flight etc. are OK... But indifferent or impolite behaviour by crew cannot be tolerated by Business / Frequent flyers.
