This is Madhur Bhandarkar’s new film. The flim is set in the period of the emergency in india 1975-77 Indira Gandhi’s government time. 70% story is fictional and 30% true. The story is of a girl who stammers. She rot married to a Government officer. But during the period of emergency, and some political activities, she change her path of life. In this emergency period I felt some portion are missing . That’s why the flim becomes an ordinary film.
Star performance is good. Kirti Kulhari’s impressed us with her acting skills. bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury delivers realistic portrayal.Neil nitin also good job in his limited role.
Music is Soul of this film background score and cinematography also good.
Overall What’s Good : Story, Direction & Music, and What’s Bad: Less focus on emergency period.
