Never buy from Infibeam

I had placed an order for two ceiling fans on 25th March. After a week (April 2nd), they tell me its out of stock! If an item is out of stock, then why can’t they display "Out of Stock" on the item? Why let me order it in the first place? They shipped me an alternate product on April 8th through some cheap courier company, that doesn’t even have a tracking mechanism.


Since they had already delayed my items by more than a week, the least I would expect them to do is to use a fast courier and make sure I get the items next day. But no! its Infibeam. They look for cost savings and pick the cheapest available mode from the cheapest logistics company.


Till today, I haven’t received the items and have no clue where it is and when I can expect to get it. Infibeam’s Shipment History page is a joke. There is hardly any information on it. This was my first order with Infibeam and will be the last. Never will I order anything from them again. I don’t recommend anyone buy anything from them anytime.


And Infibeam doesn’t even have a toll-free customer care number. You have to pay from your pocket if you want to inquire about your order!

Dear Harsha, Thanks for bringing this opportunity to explain through this platform about what went wrong...Please be advised that your order was placed during the financial year ending, whereas distributors tend to keep less stock, which is why while we mentioned that the product is out of stock, it means that we have minimal accessibility to procure the item and not completely vanished from the market. Hence, it couldn't be marked as Out of Stock, on the site.Though a little late, but the order was shipped on 8th April and because it weighs around 18kgs. it couldn't be shipped through Air mail, but was dispatched through surface mode shipment, which usually takes 5 - 7 working days... Your shipment is currently in-transit to you and should be delivered in a day or two.
