My maiden shopping experience: Very Bad

I have order one product (gift) by using infibeam.com . Recipient has received this product on time.


But there are few problems with this product.




  1. I have ordered for stunt car (Rs. 495), but recipient has received substitute product mrp: 300.




I paid for stunt car of Rs. 495. But I have received another remote car of MRP: Rs. 300 (printed on box).




  1. The product which recipient received was sub standard product and its remote control antenna was broken. Without remote , remote control car is useless.




Why another product of lower price delivered?


Was product not tested before dispatch? Antenna of this remote control was found broken.


I used to order online product from other website and this time I order first time by Infibeam and my maiden experience is really very bad. I wrote to customer care and received standard feedback. I discussed with customer care executive on chat. He tried to convince me ways all ways and ask to remove my review comments from internet. I have some queries. Is there Indian business law applicable on online shopping?


Which government body control and watch these online transactions?
