I always read online reviews before I use any web based service. This time, unfortunately, I missed out on this part because of sheer excitement of buying a nice smartphone. I placed an order on Infibeam on 21st Nov 2013 for Google Nexus(white). My first sigh of disappointed was when I saw the date of shipping as 28th Nov 2013. But I consoled myself by thinking that 7 days and then Ill see the device on its way to my office.
To keep my hopes alive, I kept calling and mailing Infibeam customer care to stay updated with the latest position of my order. What I got in response from the team was what I can see in their webportal - "Device will be shipped on 28th"
When this date arrived, I called them in the morning of 28th just to confirm the status of delivery. To which, I got the response - "Yes Sir, well ship it out anytime today"
Day passed, no message from them, and an update in the web portal - "Customer Approval Required(Product Availability Delayed)". I called them to get a detailed reason. What I got in response was - "Sir the concerned department has just updated us with the latest conditions"

My only question is, why keeping your customer in dark? Why dont you tell your customer that you dont have the thing that you are supposed to ship out even on the last day? Why list any product in your website when you dont have the onus to sell it? Why promise another date of delivery when you cant even stick to your first deadlines.
I have cancelled my order after these turn of events. And since the amount has been blocked in my credit card until you refund it, I cant even buy it from Google Play Store.

I request you to refer other reviews too before you proceed with your decision of buying things from this website.
