I bought a Dell Wireless mouse WM01 from Infibeam on 24 March after making a online purchase of Rs. 479. Little did I know what I was buying was a fake product advertised as a genuine dell mouse. Seeing such a good product at a competetive price, I bought it. My purchase ID is 10465313.
After I got delivery after some 3 days, my heart sank after seeing the product. The blister pack looked so cheap. After taking out the mouse, I saw that the left click button on the mouse had a big scratch on it.
A small button found only on wireless mice just behind the centre scroll button had CPI stenciled on it. It should be DPI for Dot Per Inch. What a big fail. The nano receiver had scratches on it. The mouse worked fine for 7 days precisely and has stopped working just before I am writing this review.
I quickly went to Dells website and found out that Dell computer company doesnt manufacture or market a wireless mouse with model number WM01. So where did Infibeam procure this product ? WOW. ! This again is a classic case of Chinese counterfeiting. and Infibeam cheating the Indian consumer.
I even asked Dell Indias office about this product and even they affirmed that they dont have a wireless mouse named WM01. Many other fraud websites are selling this fake mouse. This was my first and last purchase from Infibeam. Customers plz plz be aware of these cheats. I even wrote the same review on Infibeams website for the mouse.
But of course they didnt publish it. I hope that Infibeam either refund me or send me a genuine piece or I am complaining to the consumer redressal forum.
