WARNING: Even if you dont read the full review, DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THAT SHITTY WEBSITE.
I would like to highlight a fradulent act against an online shopping network " https://infibeam.com"(NSI Infinium Global Pvt. Ltd.) from whom I recently brought a SONY Playstation 4 500GB GTA V Bundle(Black) for INR 30785.
A company which recently got a nod from SEBI for its IPO, and this is how a customer is being treated post the purchase.
Firstly, after opening the outer packaging I found out that the product was NOT the latest version of the PlayStation 4. The desired version was CUH-1200 and what I was delivered was CUH-1106.
I immediately filed a complaint to their customer care and I was told that they will get back to me within 48 hours.
So I further opened the package and found out that there was a component missing in the box. Also, I realised that the product was a duplicate, because:
On the front side of the box, it was clearly mentioned that the product was for sale in HongKong only.
On the waranty card which was inside the box, there was a list of 24 countries in which SONYs warranty was applicable. India was not one of them.
International warranty isnt applicable on PlayStation.
I was legitly sold an illegally bought/stolen product by the company in the first place.
I called them again, and I was told that theyll arrange a pickup. To my surprise, the pickup was done the very next morning.(Jan 12, 2016)
So, I again called the customer care today(Jan 19, 2016) and Im being told that the product has been received at their warehouse in Gurgaon. Also, the product has been Quality-checked. And it would take another 1-2 days to dispatch the product from their warehouse in Gurgaon to the Vendor in central Delhi. After the dispatch it would take another 4-5 days for the product to reach the vendor. Once the Vendor recieves the product, he shall again Quality-Check the product which would consume a couple of days.
After the Vendors QC, he would require 1-2 days to inform the company regarding the next update. Only after the Vendor updates Infibeam, the company would THEN be able to provide me with a solution.
Since, I OBVIOUSLY demanded for a refund, the representative(Kamal) told me and I quote, "It would take a MINIMUM of 7 days for the product to reach the vendor."
The website states that it take 10-21 days to process a refund.
All in all, at least a month to get this thing sorted and I only wanted to play FIFA on a 40 inches screen.
This company is a disgrace to the e-commerce business.
