Terrible service. Wasted a month. Didn't deliver

I was looking to order a specific high end ultrawide monitor(LG 29EA93). It wasn’t available anyplace online anyplace but infibeam.


I placed the order on 26th Sept 2014. I payed online and was shown a delivery date of 5th Oct 2014.


On 4th Oct, I got a call from infibeam saying that they didnt have the item in stock but they could get it if I was ready to wait till 7th Oct. I was surprised that it took infibeam a week to realize they didn’t have the item in stock. I told them I was ready to wait another couple of days IF they can get the item I ordered.


I was given a new estimated shipping date for 7th Oct. On 9th I called again and I was given a new estimated shipping date of 17th Oct. When I called on 19th Oct, to ask for shipping status, I was told that they failed to get the item and and have no hope of getting it in future.


They kept stringing me on for a month only to tell me that they couldn’t get the item I ordered. All this while I was never contacted by infibeam to keep me updated. They dont respond to specific queries in email. The guys in the infibeam call center have no way to contact the procurement team and it was always a massive waste of my time calling them.


When I finally cancelled the order on 19th, I got no confirmation email. I called the callcenter only to be told that they will forward my cancellation to their accounts department that will take 2 days to confirm cancellation and then further 10 days to refund my money. Will NEVER buy from em again.
