Replacement of damaged product

I had ordered a 3 DVD set from Infibeam as they were offering the lowest price. The product was delivered to me on time. However, on opening the package I was surprised to find that there was no bubble wrapping inside, there was just the DVD set and the outer cardboard box. Further, I found that there was a crack in one of the DVDs, it had possibly got damaged in transit.


I sent a mail to their customer care team with an image of the damaged DVD. They responded in about 4 working days and within the next 7 days the damaged DVD was picked up and a new DVD sent.


Overall, I would say it was a good experience(not great), Initially, I was upset, but the fact that they replaced the damaged DVD without any fuss was good. The customer care was polite and addressed the problem though they could have been a little quicker in their response.


I would consider buying from them again, but maybe not delicate/easily breakable items.


Edit - Dec, 2013 - Have bought from Infibeam over the last one year. No problems so far with the other products purchased.
