I joined infosys as a lateral. before that, I worked with 2 other companies. I believe that, I took wrong decision i.e; joining infosys.
1) Salary: you will loose atleast 1 lakh if your CTC is 6L and above. Still depends up on the unit you are working for? this is due to the variable components.
2) In Gachibowli, hyd campus, it has 2 food courts(capacity < 4000 in total) and the total no. of employess in this campus - approx 15000:( Not sure, what’s the DC management will do? really shameful. There are atleast 15 vendors in food court and most of them are here to disappoint employees and earn money. Ofcourse, at the same time which will fill managements pocket as well.
3) coming to career. If you have good experience in DBA, management will ask you to work in Unix or some other platform. they are ready to provide training .may be 15 to 20 days:( Just think about the productivity. Not sure, why? they don’t bother about your career.
4) Every week, you should wear tie. companies which don’t have this rule atleast are doing pretty good compared to infy. Shame on infy mngmt.kinda school environment.
5) atleast 40% of employees are on bench, just to spoil their career. management just need employees swipe records showing 9.15 hours?
6) First thing which strikes our mind when discussing about infosys is infrastructure. after joining this g company, whenever I hear about this from others, I will definitely laugh.
In few projects, in 1 cubicle, you will find 5 to 6 desktops which are still running(intel - P4). you need hell lot of approvals to get the laptops/desktops assigned on ur name.
7) No work from home.
8) management force us to work like anything with out any hikes:(
9) every year, you have to clear internal certifications which are of no use.your appraisal depends on this as well. in other companies, they don’t have this fuckg rule, but they are still doing good.
10) you will be on bench for certain time even after continuous followups with management. you will be given CRR 3 or 4, .reason: you are on bench which is not ur fault and u have to bear.
11) no proper shift allowances .even, this policy has n no. of loop holes.
totally frustated:(
I don’t find a single reason to prefer this company. So, guys n gals, trust me. don’t ever join this company.
