It is by far one of the best releases of 2009. Tarantino did a brilliant job this time. If you are into war based movies, then you should go ahead with it. The cinematography is mind blowing. Somewhat I feel that the romantic element in this movie has been dragged a little far unnecessarily. However, leaving that apart, it is a must watch. Some scenes in this movie is quite graphic(violent) in nature, and if you are not too comfortable with these types of scenes, then remain alert.
Being a war based movie fan, I was a bit disappointed with the end product as delivered by Tarantino. I will not say that this is an average war movie comparing to others, but from a very personal point of view, I have seen better war based movies like Schindler’s List, Letters from Iwo Jima, The Pianist, Life is Beautiful etc. and have like these movies far better than Inglorious Bast*rds. My overall rating is 7 out of 10 for this movie, so you should go and watch it.
