I have been to fame cinemas only once, although not popular as sathyam or pvr it’s certainly the best. Located inside Chandra metro mall, Virugambakkam the mall has only few shops like pantaloons, food bazaar & e zone. The ticket counter is in ground floor whereas the theatre is in 3rd floor. The ambiance of the theatre is really good both outside and inside. The seats were comfortable and the lighting was perfect. The sound systems and screening of the movie was of high standards. The restrooms were clean & well maintained. A/c perfect. The snack counter service was very prompt. The staffs were very helpful. Overall the movie experience was very good.
Definitely will go there again to watch movies. The mall is located in a very congested area and the roads are very narrow, so to reach there in time is a big problem. Parking facilities are available mostly for 2 wheelers although I’m not sure of car parking which again is very difficult to drive in that area. The snacks though pricey is better. The food court does not accept cards and there is no ATM inside the mall. So carry some cash in hand. The place is not usually crowded because of only few shops and the difficulty in getting there.
Other than that , Fame cinemas is truly the best.
