Today I went to see the Kung Fu Panda movie, by booking a ticket online, that itself was a big price to pay. After booking the ticket, I happened to see the entire movie on a popular website, now removed from there. I had no other go to go to the theater to see the movie. INOX Chennai is where the movie is running and after a lot of security protocols got to get in to the theater.
The interiors are really posh and designed with taste. The food and the drink there are very expensive. The movie was not played in full, they cut a lot of scenes from the original. Like what provokes Po the panda to achieve he has set forth to, what impresses the Master Shifu to believe that Po is the dragon warrior, some of the training part and a delightful insight by the turtle given to Po.
This movie is not even an adult rated movie and it is a short one as well. The reason I go to the theater to watch one is the sound and the visual effects which makes the experience a pleasant one. I know prior to this a lot of cuts are made by the theater owners arbitrarily for various reasons. This is not right. We as consumers need a complete value for money. When I asked an employee there, the reply was ’timings’ sir! Absolutely ridiculous.
