I read the rest of Carson’s books over the years, starting when I was a teenager. I always enjoyed the thriller aspect but I also liked the characters.
Inquest is the first of Carson’s books I have read and disliked. The thriller aspects are great, but there is way too much repetition of back story and tired cliches.
The characters are not well developed (even the main character is one dimensional and I didn’t care what happened to him by the end). The chase aspects are good but aside from that it is a poor formulaic thriller Im afraid.
