I read somewhere that now you can also search and buy Insurance like you buy Air Tickets...and recently Movie Tickets (bookmyshow.com - my next review)
OK, the site’s name is https://insurancemall.in and is quite a soothing looking site, with very promissing features. The good features of the site were:
Good Looking - Non Crampy Website.
Nicely designed navigation
You get a choice of 4-5 Insurance Companies to buy from...thats cool
The Chat works!!! - kidding, but I tried the chat at 7.00 pm and it worked.
Inquiries to expert - This is good... (pssst...I sent a dummy query on Life Insurance) and got quotes from 4 Insurance companies within 3-4 days....thats average...
The guys promise to give free claims assistance - one for after sales service...
Things that need quick improvement:
What does the logo mean yaar, they should have had a better logo...bar code and a thelaa...where does it talk about insurance...
Motor Insurance does not have a comparison engine like Health, Travel etc.
Life Insurance page has the same query sheet...and seems to be more of data collection.
Renewal Reminder worked but was not accurate in providing information.
Overall, a nice initiative and experience, and if they improve will provide good service to people like me who dont have time to step out of office, and would like it online... I will definitely try buying my next policy from here and check out.. Will keep you guys n gals posted..
