After struggling alomost for a month, after raising my concern with Intellipaat, with a lot of disappointment from this institute, I am posting this review on Mouthshut with a hope of resolution of my concern.
I enrolled in a CCE IIT Madras course for Cloud Computing & DevOps in the last week of June 22. It was a forceful enrollment as their sales team did everything possible to convince me to enroll in this course by repeatedly calling me till late night till I made the payment for this course in night, salute to their sales team strategy to play with customer minds. But on very next day of making payment I realized and informed them to cancel my admission and cancel the payment & EMIs, but their support team & sales teams didnt bother to address this and tried every way possible to force me to continue with Intellipaat.
So I had left with no choice except to continue. A big surprise was waiting, it was an extreme disappointment to see the commitments and promises made during selling the course coming out as lies. They took 3 months to finish AWS SAA course which no where in industry take this much of time and they changed the faculty 3-4 times throughout this, so overall it was a big disappointment for majority of the batchmates.
While it was going like this, there has been some problems in my family and commitment towards that was holding me back to continue with this course which was already a big disappointment. So I raised this to Intellipaat team requesting them to exit me from the course and refund my money and offered them to make respective deduction for modules which I completed.
And I was shocked to see, instead of understanding my genuine personal issue and supporting me for that, their support team personal & escalation team behaved rudely and they literally harassed me by setting up calls multiple times with no resolution and no listening to my concern. Instead they started referring to their refund policy which I disagreed with them telling that this policy and terms was not mentioned by your sales time before convincing me for making payment for the course and as per the terms of the policy the very next day I asked to cancel my admission which too was denied and I was forced to continue with them.
Then they asked me to find a new learner for my replacement and they will transfer my course to the new learner, which I asked them they have lot of new candidates upcoming so they can do that themselves, why asking me to find out, this optionis completely unethical in my option and can expect from such an institute only, Infact I looped in their top management also with a hope for resolution but it was a big disappointment.
Long story shot, Intellipaat is forcing their candidates to be with them and making money by following such bad practices, these kind of institutes are stubborn because they are not being governed by any body like UGC etc. There should be strict rules and guidelines for all such institutes, so that the customers like us seeking career growth does not fall into their honeytrap and waste our hard earned money and precious time and more importantly save ourselves from such harassment.
