I want to share my recent experience with Interior Company by Square Yards, which has been nothing short of disappointing. From poor project management to unresponsive behaviour and a range of other issues, I feel compelled to caution potential clients about the shortcomings of this company.
The project suffered from significant delays, showcasing a lack of project management skills on their part. In addition, I encountered measurement discrepancies and issues with the actual products received, it took numerous emails and two months of persistence to have the errors rectified. The Masala box, an essential piece of furniture, was missing, and they are not ready to pay the refund for the same.
What was even more frustrating was their refusal to provide the delay compensation mentioned in our contract. They broke their commitment and failed to acknowledge their mistakes, leaving me feeling unheard and disrespected. They have literally ignored my phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages for days and by mistake if they pick up the call I would get one answer that we would get back to us in 30 minutes and till today 30 minutes have not been completed.
To add to the list of disappointments, the flooring was damaged during the project, and the deep cleaning was incomplete, leaving the premises in an unsatisfactory state. The furniture itself had alignment issues, indicating a lack of attention to detail and proper installation.
What concerns me even further is the ongoing delays in handover. I’ve learned that another resident in my building has been waiting for over 1.5 years, which raises doubts about the company’s ability to complete projects within a reasonable timeframe.
I share this experience to highlight the importance of thorough research and due diligence when choosing an interior designing company. It’s crucial to select a company that values professionalism, communication, and customer satisfaction.
