This is going to be an honest and positive take on my experience with the UI/UX course.
Course Content & Study Material: 8/10
The course covered a lot of ground for someone starting out in UI/UX. The study material was well-organized and easy to follow. Topics like wireframing, prototyping, and tools such as Figma and Adobe XD were taught with practical examples that helped me build hands-on experience.
Although the course focused more on UI aspects, it did touch upon UX fundamentals and gave a good foundation. I supplemented a few things on my own, but overall, the material helped me understand how real-world design tools and workflows operate.
Teaching & Learning Experience
The instructors explained the concepts in a simple and clear way. They demonstrated designs using well-known platforms like Zara, Airbnb, and Amazon, which gave us real-world design context to learn from. It definitely helped me get inspired and build my own style.
I especially liked the assignments and quizzes that pushed me to apply the concepts practically.
Portfolio Building & Case Studies
Though I had to work independently on my portfolio, the course guided me on how to structure case studies and present my work. This eventually helped me during interviews where I could confidently explain my projects and the reasoning behind my design decisions.
Placements & Career Support
While the placement assistance could be better in terms of number of opportunities, I did receive support in preparing my resume and getting access to a couple of interview forms. After completing the course, I got an interview call and was able to speak confidently about my project thanks to the structured learning I had.
Final Thoughts
If youre a beginner looking to enter the world of UI/UX, this course is a great starting point. It lays a strong foundation and gives you access to tools and methods used by professionals. Like any skill-based course, youll need to put in some extra effort to explore more on your own but the support and structure are definitely there.
Worth the investment if youre serious about starting your UI/UX journey.
