Super Site To Sell On!

We have sold on the internet for some time and heard all the hype from all different sites, all yelling one thing or another.

’’We’ll be the next E-Bay!’’ ’’We’ll give you more and charge less!’’ ’’We never charge for final Value Fees ( or this fee or that fee)!’’

But look at the charges you get under the radar! One will charge a terrfic final value fee, some will charge for extra pictures, some charge for everything, some want you to use some payment system they only have....The cliams are all great, until you look at the fees and hidden fees, the stability of the site, and what sort of product moves there.

So, you try this one, leave as there is no action or not enough action after 6 monthes.

The next one, you try out for 6 monthes to a year, find out that not only is the site charging to list after yelling ’’it’s totally FREE!!!’’, but you get charged for so many piddly things; another site only states they will take only the pay system they have, but have no history at all.

Then you hear about quiet Ioffer.com....not a lot of hype and spent dollars with splashy ads all over the web ( they do advertise, just not high dollar ads) trying to hide they are johnny come latelys to the web, no not Ioffer. Looking at some of the older memberships there, you find sellers from the start of Ioffer.com still there and still selling!!!

You look the site over a bit- the TOS is pretty standard, except they do not allow email or contact information until a deal is struck with a seller and buyer. We like that after having been dumped on with some spam before!

Hmmm, no charge to list, extra pictures cost a nickle each or use your own programming skills and host the pictures off site, and a very reasonable final value fee. Some premium features that are lower charged than many other sites ( front page featured is only $19.95!! for 60 days, another famous place charges $79.95 for the same feature for 7 days!!!)

Another fine feature- a thing called the ’’whole Story’’. The entire negotiation is in the open for all to read. No hiding, no arguements about you said that it was so and so. And it stays with your store name always- people can see how you treated customers this year, last year and way back as long as you are there. Great for the honest sellers, bad for the scammers and cheaters.

If you see a little logo about ’’Mr. Grabber’’, it is saying that the ad was imported for the seller from a different venue. That saves sellers a lot of time, plus the Ioffer people give you time to change the information if you have your email on your ads, or other contact information.

Some of the other features include a blog, a guestbook and a free of any charge store if you list more than 2 items. There are clubs and chatboards as well. The members are generally nice and helpful on the boards, as we said earlier, many have been there for some time. (Sometimes you get a little stinker on the boards, but all sites have the troll types who try to cause trouble- they do get put in place on Ioffer fast though!)

The range of products is just short of amazing- electronics to baby clothes, incense to shoes.

Even free , no final value fee at all for the cars and real estate sales.

Wow! No other site compares with the ease of use and the values offered.

Ioffer.com and E-Bay are the only sites we have used that have set up a program ( different at each, but effective at each) to help clean out the illegal merchandise sellers. The program at Ioffer.com is initiated by the copyright holder or trademark holder or the agent for them. The companies find an item that is offending against the TOS and bam! It is gone!

One company even hired ( through it’s law firm) a man who pulls down the illegal LV ads and then will offer a cease and desist letter in exchange for a fine and the agreement to surrender all the illegal information and products and to sign a sworn document to never sell the companies’ products again. Excellent response, the scamming people have been cute easily in half or more. Of course, some did not pay and came back to tell of get served by the law firm and being charged a LOT more at that point to avoid civil and criminal charges being filed. Great idea and great at taking the scammers off the site.

We have only known the site to be down for more than a half hour 2 times in the last 3 years- one was a physical site move, another was just lately with an ISP provider crashing.

No automatic downtime every Friday Night. Nice staff guys working there. Good email ticket system for complaints or needs.

You have to use it to believe it. Test drive it and find yourself keeping more money in your pocket without the trouble of running ( and paying) for your own website.
