Internet has long been issue with me and I couldnt bear it if I didnt get to atleast sit and surf for atleast two hours a day/night. I got BSNL ’’Broadband’’. The only thing it did was sucker me into burning through my wallet and right down my pants. The data transfer ’’funda’’ of BSNL is very lame and during its launch(and apparently the all pervading lack of information provided by ANY government organisation) I had managed to give a hefty ’’chanda’’ to BSNL. Now, Iqara apparently has this scheme where you can access the internet from 10 pm to 10 am on all days with the exception of sunday allowing you to access the whole day. This scheme comes with an activation fee and 550 a month rental - a cheap price to pay considering that you are getting a 256 kbps line dedicated :-o
The internet services have been good till date and I have been able to transfer data (download or upload) in the GBs. The customer service has been exceptional and an easy recharge system lets you get it done by sitting at home. The services have been good and the internet is consistent pretty much during the entire time. I dont why you people complain - this is the only Internet provider that lets you do so much in so less! The only problem however is that the other schemes are pretty lame with either a lower bandwidth or a lameass data transfer limit!
I would rate as one of the best ISPs around considering that I have tried and used TATA Indicom, AIRTEL, SIFY and of course BSNL.
And on a final note I would say that the ISPs now a days are providing ADSL/DSL services and one can find true broadband only in Reliance Webworlds. Iqara however is available only in select areas.
