The movie is about an 18 yr old deaf and dumb Muslim village boy named Iqbal Khan (Shreyas Talpade) .
Iqbal loved cricket and wanted to be a Criketer ..... a bowler to be more specific.Uska reason bhi hai. He always thot that the batsmen tuk the credit and the bowlers got very little. He used to practice by himself away 4m pples eyes.
He was gr8ly helped by his sis shweta prasad. Whatever it is , one needs a coach.
So Iqbal went to the nearby Cricket coaching centre run by Girish Karnad. Iqbal’s talent made him a star in the club. Cricket and no polictics???????? impossible. So we c Coach Karnad kicking Iqbal out of his centre.
Iqbal turns to alcoholic Naseeruddin Shah who was once upon a time a cricketer. After a lot of binti, Nasser saab agreed to help Iqbal. Firstly He made him a bowler, then gave him the chance in the Andhra Ranji team. It was becoz of Iqbal that Andhra won the match(has to be). at last we c, Iqbals dream getting fulfilled.... he was chosen for the Indian Team..... wearing the blue jersey.
Its a Subhash Ghai Movie and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor( of Hyderabad Blues fame).
Kapil paaji made a special appearance in this film.The music is by Salim -Suleiman( of Kaal Fame ) and most of the songs r sung by K. K.

Every human being shud dream A lot of obstacles will come.......But u have to cross them and be a winner.U try hard . do ur duty and leave the rest to God.
After my injury, I thot may be ill not be able to play that well in the next tournament.But this movie gave me the boost to fight back. I was cheking out this movie today itself.Bedridden Aahana has to get well soon and get back to practice.
