Waste of time and effort. Useless website.
Im having an account in IRCTC with first name as Ravi kumar and according to my PAN card details my first name is RAVI. When I want to register for Ewallet it is asking for PAN no. And first name according to PAN card, when I entered it is saying PAN verification failed because first name doesnt match as per IRCTC account details, when I entered as per IRCTC it is saying doesnt match as per PAN details. What is that.
That means according to IRCTC any PAN card can be used for registering for Ewallet just your first name in IRCTC account and PAN card should match.
For that I have created one more new account and wanted to have my primary mobile no. registered in new account and I have changed to my secondary mobile no. in old account, so my primary no. Is released from IRCTC. But it is not allowing me to do so. And then I have given my brothers no. In new account and got registered and activated Ewallet and loaded money too.
Now the time comes to book a tatkal ticket, after entering all the details and transaction password of Ewallet again it is asking for OTP, By the time I get OTP from my brother all the seats were gone. If OTP is needed then why transaction password is there, cant they keep any one of them.
I cant change my mobile no. to my primary no. for new account, it says you have changed your mobile no. on so and so date so u are not able to change, but they can provide an note there that you can change your no. after some days like 30 days or something.
But cant do anything we have only one website to book train tickets and we have to bare it.
