IRCTC is a partner of INDIAN RAILWAYS which is great but IRCTC must have to improve their website. Booking of tickets is like a hell on IRCTC specially when booking a tatkal ticket. Service provided from irctc is good now a days but not Excellent.
I’m booking tickets on IRCTC since last 3 to 4 years and booked normal tickets successfully but the tatkal booking is very bad. If you have a normal internet connection then forget your booking because i’m sure that you can’t book a tatkal tickets even a broadband connection sometimes failed to book tickets(Tatkal).
GOOD: Easy to book normal tickets, easily get the trains information.
Bad: Poor service, Poor management, they strictly need to improve their website, booking tatkal is not possible for normal peoples, Surfing options on the website is not easy, Refunding of money takes more time as compared to usual time.
• Note: If you want to book a tatkal ticket and you don’t have high speed internet then i’m suggesting you to please don’t book.
