IRCTC tourism is for booking indian railways ticket through online, and online mode of payment.
It Has all necessary information user interface looks stylish and more materialistic. which feels much better, and has bigger fonts so it is easily readable even for weaker eyes. Here is the weaker part also user interface can be further re polished in future updates.
Rest is pretty easy to use. I never face any major issue. Good aspects are it is fast enough in loading. one can use with 2G internet connection. but I would recommend used wifi or 3g/4g or any fast connection to avoid chances of missing confirmation of tickets. and it has great option of online payments mode. Debit card, credit card of almost every bank supported. you may get some special offers with govt. banks like SBI etc. I am using it from last 1 year and website from last 2 to 3 years. and booked many tickets too. and till now I have not face any issue till date. everything was working flawlessly. and I have cancelled tickets and face no issues there, I had got timely transfer of my money on cancellation.
So overall pretty good application. some may complaint regarding not getting confirmed ticket through even premium tatkal. but for that I cant complain application rather we should blame indian railway.
