I recently purchased a TV and Home theater system from hometown and I was shocked by the treatment which customer service of e-zone provided. They were extremely accomodating and helpful till I made the payments and there after they removed their masks and showed me their evil faces. I was told that both the articles would be delivered next day and a technician will be coming to my house within 48 hrs. Sounds perfect right?
But here I am following up with them for the delivery and they are coming with lies and excuses about how busy they are and that almost 10 people are just working on my request. I got frustated with all the phone communication and decided to go in person and load the stuff in my own car.
They made me wait for 2 hrs and then asked me to help them in lifting the home theater and then I was asked to carry it on trolley by myself. I was still happy that I got the delivery for home theater. But battle was half won as I was told that TV is coming from warehouse and will be delivered in next 2 hrs. After good 6 hrs I received a call that TV cannot be delivered today as their was some mis-communication between driver and delivery boy. They thought it’s my TV in truck but later found out that it was for someone else. Intelligent tracking system :).
Finally next day after 5 calls my TV was deliverd and now I was waiting for an technician to do the connections for my home theater. I again called home town after waiting 72 hrs and they told me that technician would be sent by Sony and not by them. I called Sony center and they inquired me about package id from home town for the installation request. I didn’t had the number so I called home town again and with found out that these guys never initiated the service request. Why am I not surprised? Home town then asked me take this up with Sony and they will be of no help. I asked them that I would like to write a formal complain against them with the company and they said they don’t have such facility. haha ha ha...I am not going back to Home Town ever again for anything.
