In 2014, Political instability took a lot of
attention to this city because two of the well
known Pakistani parties decided to protest
against the government. This protest was world’s
longest of it’s type. There were hundred thousands
of people protesting in D-Chowk Islamabad for the
resignation of prime minister. The protest continued
for 126 days. It was also one of the world’s best-managed
due to its duration, the number of protesters, the well
managed system of boarding and lodging etc.
Well-known tourists’ destinations in Islamabad
are Shakarparian museum of natural history,
Lok Virsa Museum, Islamabad King Faisal Mosque,
National Monument, Pak-China friendship Center,
Rawal Lake, Pir Sohawa, Daman e Koh, Islamabad
