Visited the resort during my honeymoon trip down south in Dec05. In fact, this where I started from in south, proceeding towards north east hills.
the heat and humidity during the travel from rly stn to the resort suddenly disappeared once we took a turn onto a muddy trail leading us into the resort. The property was truly royal [southern royal] with true woodden carvings and formations from he year of yore. A grand welcome and a thorough brief of what the property and my say there stands to offer. It was all mind blowing. The cottage was truly great and the ultimate value for money with open air bathroom and an ambience which is a mix of both traditional outlook and modern amenities. But never did the modern amenities came in he way of maintaining the old traditional outlook / royal of the cottage.
The propery offerred a lot for my stay of 2 nights. The incursions include a private beach, backwater boating, club house, bird watching trail, etc. The cultural programs in the evenings were really refresshing and the ayurveda center seemed to be truly authentic and well maintained, though I never visited it. The food too was great and the staff in particular was very co-operative and couteous.
I surely look fwd to visit the resort and recommend it to all fun loving and adventurous and family.
