I have to admit at first I was a little concerned that I would not be able to get into this book. This was the first time I ever picked out a book online. This ended up being a excellent book. I read this book within 3days and I have a husband at home 3 kids and I work full time. This is the first Kimberla Roby book I’ve read. It will not be my last. I have heard great reviews on her book Casting the First Stone it is on my to be read list. There is very little if any profanity in this book and it is written so that it is easily read and enjoyed by many. I recommended this book for my book club, Brilliant Black Women, although we don’t have our meeting until 8-19-06, so far it is a success. Everyone that I have spoken with to ask if they at least liked the book has said YES they love it. I will go on my book shelf with all of my books that I keep. This book touches home on some parts I am sure that someone in your family is similar to some character in the book. There is not much more that you can ask for in a good book. Kimberla Roby has a smooth writting skill that allows the book to flow freely from page to page. Great job Kimberla Roby. Keep up the good work.
