All right, so do you seriously want to read the review for this movie. Ok then, if you have watched the movie, then my friend my sympathies’ with you, but if you haven’t yet, do give this a thumbs up, coz i’ll be saving your time. But if you liked Drishyam, 2014 movie, then you surely would like this too,
So, you must have been through the trailer of this movie, and guess what, half of the movie(before interval) is like the exact picture. I mean the trailer gives the whole idea of what’s gonna happen in the movie. You watch the full trailer or you see the half movie, it’s similar. The story’s plot in brief is that Vikrant(Sidharth Malhotra) and Maya( Sonakshi Sinha) are suspects of someone’s murder and are being investigated by Dev( Akshaye Khanna) aka The Cop. The whole story goes around Dev, interrogating the two suspects, and finally getting onto a decision
The movie kick starts with a scene, where Vikrant is being chased by the police, because his wife was murdered and he became the prime suspect of it. Running from the police Vikrant goes to Maya’s house to seek help, OPPS! sorry, not to seek help, but to kill her husband, who is a lawyer. Now, as obvious, Maya runs to the police, tells them that Vikrant murdered her husband, and then police arrests Vikrant and helds him for interrogation and stuffs.
Now, Dev comes in the spotlight, who have been instructed by his senior to solve the case in 3 days because Vikrant is a UK citizen, like SERIOUSLLY?. Moving ahead, Dev confronts both Maya and Vikrant and is confused about, like did Maya killed her husband and is trying to frame Vikrant, as he is already a suspect, or did Vikrant really did the two murders, if so, then how?
Story goes on, and Dev finally comes to a decision that Maya killed her husband, and Vikrant wife died due to heart attack, as she was already suffering from a minor heart congestion.
Then, Dev releases Vikrant and let him go, because he thinks he didn’t do anything.
In the final minutes, when Vikrant was at the airport, and was boarding a flight to London, he phone calls Dev and tells him that he killed his wife and Maya’s husband, because both of them were trying file a case against him. And then Dev does everything to stop the flight, but does not succeed.
Overall, the movie was kindda entertaing, and is a good time killer, only if you are a suspence lover.
