Ivann is all about Parthiban from the first frame to the last. Some scenes remind Puthiya Pathai. Especially the scene where Meena gets killed. Nevertheless this is a commendable effort from Parthiban. Ivann is about Jeevan played by Parthiban who grows up into a do gooder after the death of his father who was killed fighting for justice.
He makes people realize that we can’t have super heroes in real life and it is up to the people to take up the issue in their hands but this is portrayed in a lively manner with a huge help from the timing jokes by Parthiban. Soundarya who plays a classical singer in the movie , is a delight to watch. She may be plump but she is looks beautiful and Meena who actually marries Jeevan is too good in some scenes.
Songs by Maestro are delight for our ears and he is at his best in the background score too. Fousiya who has handled the camera has done well too so is the fight scenes. Dialogues are big plus and Parthiban steals the show with them. What makes Ivann lack a bit is a the sloppy ending and the cruelness in some scenes.
On the whole there is no big role for any one of the 18 villains and it is the lead trio who steal the show.
The difference between Baba which has not been successful and this movie is the slick narration and imaginative screenplay.

VERDICT : Watchable for the lead trio.
