I’m not sure how I first came upon iVillage two years ago. But, I’m so glad I did.
They offer free, web-based email, free space to build your homepage, horoscopes, recipes, advice on health and beauty, parenting tips, shopping and so much more.
My favorite part of iVillage is the message boards. You can find message boards on a wide variety of topics. Two years ago, the Pregnant and Single board saved my life. Now, some of my favorite boards are Artists and Performer Parents, Freebies! and Referals (a great place to get people to sign up for your money-making schemes). I think what makes iVillage message boards so great is the people. This is a community of sincere, supportive and fair people. How they manage to keep the idiots away, I do not know.
Though iVillage is geared towards women, they welcome men who are interested in the topics of discussion.
This is by far the best place on the internet to get sound advice and interact with a great group of people.
