I really love the fragrance of Ivory and the low price of the soap. Despite the fact that it has a lower value and great fragrance, it gave a harsh effect to my skin. I have noticed totally after using Ivory for at least two days at certain periods of the year. It is harsh on the skin.
Irritation is especially present in the pelvic areas where skin is more sensitive. I tested my hypothesis after first experiencing the irritation with Ivory. After experiencing the irritation I used a bar of Dial and irritation occurred the irritation went away almost immediately.
Later I used Ivory soap again to see if it was the problem, which concluded as the exact problem. I found that it makes you feel as if you have a diaper rash because of skin dryness. Other soaps I can suggest are Dial, Jergens, and Caress. Although this may not because a problem for all people, Ivory is still a great brand for those who have high tolerance skin.
