Guys recently only I have used this app in my phone first of all at the time of downloading I thought that it is directly linked with IRCTC but after downloading it and using the app I got to know that it is some other App . after paying and everything they will contact to IRCTC and then your ticket will get booked. the app shows many features like booking flight tickets, booking buses and all and also IRCTC trains but it charges a bit more not much but if the price is 1805 they will charge you 1819 onwards . I installed IRCTC rail connect but after opening that it was showing unable to retrieve your data . nd as I need to book my ticket urgently so that I can go home after my exams . I searched for some latest app . I got this app #ixigo in my Play Store the name was IRCTC rail booking , PNR enquiry etc. I thought it is also provided by IRCTC itself that’s why I installed it. I Gave all the information needed to book a ticket and I proceed for payment I I did the payment through net banking I don’t know what happened but the balance got deducted from my account but after sometime they sent me a message like they can’t book the ticket. I called the customer care executive of IRCTC regarding this issue they said like the server is down and that time I got to know that this app is not provided by IRCTC it is not directly connected it’s just like a mediator and around 40 to 1 hour I got a message and mail that my booking is unsuccessful and the money will be refunded within 5 days. I’m not saying that is not a good app but once the money is been deducted from your account it takes 5 days to get the refund. so I will suggest you people that if your booking a ticket in urgent then use IRCTC rail connect or else go to the nearby shop and do your booking there itself don’t use any other App to book your tickets .
