A perfect launchpad for Imran

A typical bollywood family entertainer to watch over a pepsi and popcorn, Jaane Tu’s well knitted screenplay scores over the weak storyline. The casting was wisely chosen and you will notice that there are no fade-in and fade-out ones making unnecessary appearances on the screen for fame.

Aamir must have been wise enough along with Abbas Tyrewala to have made Imran underplay his role and provide more exposure to Genelia.  She has made the best of this opportunity and steals the show. A melo-drama with the background score just needed that Rehman does not come up to your mind but just the music prevails.  The starting rythm of Jaane Tu theme’s Sukhwinder version is simply mind-blowing.

Nazruddin Shah for a guest appearance has done his job in his own style not to forget Imran’s mom character as well.

One dialogue worth a mention is when Aditi (Genelia) tells her friend about Jai (Imran) that its surprising to see Jai involved with someone and being possessive.  Her friend simply replies, ’He was the same already; its just that it was YOU before and now its someone else.’

Movie meant for pure fun - no smoking and drinking on screen, not much flesh exposure as much as I noticed that takes your attention away from the actual movie.

Nothing to much to write as such, just go with your friends and have fun and don’t apply brains after all every other movie isn’t meant for it!
