The Enigma behind 'e' in Jaan-e-mann

It may seem as the same old wine in a new bottle, it may look as an outdated product in this Munnabhai age..but believe me Mamu, as the old saying goes..Appearances are often deceptive...same applies here.am quite sure it’l leave you Pleasently surprised...

it was the 3rd day since the release of both Jaan-e-mann&Don.the media was going ga-ga over the supposed battle of the khans at the box offfice..there were Film critics, word of mouth publicity n What not...but wat struck me the most about the film was the fact that the debutante director was also the Editor, Screenplay writer, Dialogue writer, Background music scorer for the film..PHEW..a man of many hats!!

the moment the film starts, u start feeling..kuch toh hai!!in the 1st 15min itself, ul get hooked onto the Dream-land created by the director.the presentation, the camera frames, the way in which the scenes blend into each other beautifuly, will leave you in awe..yes yes, its awe..for this type of story-telling has never before been attempted&Does take time getting used to..no doubt, this innovative style may not be accepted by many, but believe me, once you fet used to it, you’l know why am I saying, its Flawless!!

Of late it has become a trend of sorts to show some scenes in flashback.this film too has its own share of flashback scenes at different times..the 1st one being the Intro Scene of Preity Zinta.its been brilliantly done in a song..Humko Maalum Hai..the director, creates a Fairy-tale sort of setting for the song and its a visual treat.

the humour in the 1st half is FANTASTIC, to say the least..be it Salman Khan, Anupam Kher or the Comedy king-Akshay Kumar, the film will leave you hilarious.the Entry scene of Akshay Kumar beautifully blended with the Semi-Qawwali Song "Jaane Ke Jaane Na" is all Too Good!! You have to see the scenes to believe what am saying.

the moment it starts looking as though its yet another comedy movie, the director changes track and sensitively potrays Quite a few scenes&you get to see the Director in full control of his task at hand..Commendable, Mr.Kunder!!

even the interval comes so beautifully blended into the Story that you almost start feeling as though it was made for it!!

the 2nd half is a contrast to the 1st half..its quite emotional & leaves you with few tears in your eyes..the pain, the sorrow, the guilt...everything has been beautifully poytrayed.

a major PLUS for the film is its music..it may not hook you onto it till You’ve seen the film<like with me..now I just cant get enough of the Film’s music>but in the film every song comes well blended into the story n actually carries forward the movie.

coming to performances, this film belongs to, APART from the director, Salman Khan..its an author backed role for him..which he plays CONVINCINGLY..Akshay Kumar, displays yet another variety in his role<his laugh is alredy a rage in whloe of India...dont believe me??check out The Times Of India website>Preity Zinta is Good, Anupam Kher Very Nice.the rst of the cast also lend a able hand to the story telling....

the Screenplay is Fantastic to say the least!!the Music Very good, the direction Masterly..the only area where the film is a downer is the editing part..tho not a major prob as such but still, , some parts of the film seem stretched...but mind you...its ONLY A FEW SCENES!

All In All, A film sure Worth a Watch which will sure leave you with a laugh, or a tear droplet or two, or both!!!
