PLOT:- I never expected that Imtiaz Ali can make this type of worst film. Yes, you read it right, its his worst directional film. Imtiaz Ali, the man behind the movies like JAB WE MET, LOVE AJKAL, ROCKSTAR, COCKTAIL, HIGHWAY, TAMASHA etc. Certainly the expectation is always high from him, but this time he is big time failed. Not a single sight is good in the movie. The story is based in foreign location(EUROPE) but can’t see anything good background there. Story line is too weak to believe. I don’t think anyone can roam around from one city to another for a ring. Just because SEJAL falls in love with HARRY, she didn’t even tell him that the ring was with her, in her purse. Emotional scenes are very weak also. We heard about SEJAL’s family but never seen them on the screen, same as HARRY’s family, they are seen just for 30 seconds, where as he left his job and cam back to India. A would be bride whose engagement has already done, canceled her marriage but there is no issues with her family, never seen that before in any movies. Director could have hit a sixer with these two brilliant actors but he failed to do it.
PERFORMANCE:- Acting was also poor by them, only the good thing is SEJAL’s accent of gujrati, just like a pro & manages to pull up the scenes somehow. I must say SHAHRUKH KHAN looks better with his beard.
MUSIC:- Worst music done by Pritam, Hitesh Sonik & Diplo. Except Hawayein, you can’t remember any other song.
CINEMATOGRAPHY:- K. U. Mohanan, the cinematographer behind the films like AAJA NACHLE, RAEES, DON, WE ARE FAMILY, TALAASH etc. but not up to the mark like other films.
