The story of Jab Harry Met Sejal is quite predictable. There is nothing new in the movie which we do not know. The movie gives us the feeling of movies of Karan Johar in the period of 2000’s.
The story of the movie is quite simple. Harry( Shahrukh Khan) is a tourist guide who is seen in this movie with an Indian group who had gone for the tour in Europe. There he meets with Sajel( Anushka Sharma) who had lost her engagement ring. Her family had returned to India but she said that she will not return until she finds her engagement ring. And that’s how the journey starts off a LOST TOURIST GUIDE and a GUJARATI GIRL.
Talking about performances, SRK is not doing such type of role first time. In the DDLJ he was seen with this kind of role. At some point in the movie, we can relate HARRY with RAJ in DDLJ but Sejal is nowhere close to the Simran. The Rajasthani tone of Anushka Sharma is pathetic. Talking about music, there are too many songs which bore you at some point.
If this movie wasn’t made, there is no difference will have been happened to Bollywood. This movie will be added as the filmography in careers of Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Imtiyaz Ali.
