Wow I was excited, throughout the day, as I had booked tickets for evening show, and I was following all news channels - covering JTHJ, Twitter - Reading twits, Google - Checking reviews. It only excited me to the core, Finally when I went to theater, Very colorful audience surrounding the Hall waiting with all the excitement to get into the Theater. Lots of them around to buy tickets as the show was Housefull and I could see tickets been sold BLACK. The atmosphere only added my excitement.
Here I go into the theater, soon the big Auditorium is Full, Lights dimming smoothly and slowly as the Projector is on, Seetees all around, and screams aswell, as the Yashraj films projects.
Now Movie starts, a professional bomb squad trying all the best efforts in the world to diffuse, but they are clueless. Here comes the Hero (MAJOR SAMAR) on the Motorbike, (Full of Seetees, Thallis, Screems) parks his bike, No protection only Gloves (Rajni Style) diffuses bomb in 1 min.
Next entry, Anuska (AKIRA), Takes her clothes off, ( Cool with only Two piece) takes a dip in chill waters. ( Again All seetees around) she slowly gets drowned due chill water, here comes Hero, who saves her when she is completely drowned and leaves his jacket with his personal Dairy ( So that she reads his past life and deliver him dairy back)
Now the Story starts, As Akira (On Documentary project for Discovery Channel) as expected reads the dairy, where Mr.Samar is happy go type, enjoying his multiple Jobs as Struggling emigrant in London, living in small room & sharing with pakistani roommate. While cleaning the Snow at Church he sees his Love ( Katrina - Meera), quietly hear her confession at church, coincidentally he happens to get a job as waiter and he is working in same restaurant were Meera is getting Engaged. Well they happen meet in Hotel backyard, Hero says heroin you are not happy, he is not right guy, you dont love him..., blah, blah, blah..,
Second meet Meera wants to learn singing and playing guitar with Samar, in return Samar wants Meera teach him Speaking English( English Vinglish with Meera). So here opportunity, month long music classes in parks, Hotels, Rooftops, Basements, and finally at Metro Station They find love.
Not to forget - Samar to Meera, I love you, and I want to kiss you, when I kiss you will not hit me, Here comes Hero, There is a Lip Lock, Heroin does not hit him. Well Love is discovered.
Here comes the twist, Samar meets with accident, he get sudden cardiac arrest with head injuries, Here comes well trained in ALS London Police with Difibrilators, shocks are administered, on the other end Meera prays for his life and in return forgo her love. Woooo Samar get his Heart beats and he comes to life, only to realize later that Meera can no longer love him as She prayed God for his life in return to her love. Sadist Samar leaves London City with a promise to never return Back, Jab tak jai Jaan, Jab tak hai jaan, Jab tak hai Jaan.....,
Now Present Day he has joined Indian Army at rank Major Samar in Bomb squad Team. ( Interestingly he did not knew a word in english, But he has qualified to difuse Bomb’s) Now Ms.Akira is in love with Mr.Samar. Who also expresses love effortlessly, But not taken very seriously by Samar, as still he lives in memories of Meera.
Akira goes back to London to submit Documentary completed and No surprises, her documentary is selected offered big buck Job, with one condition Samar has to visit London. and as expected Mr.Samar travel back to London for one day. And again some twists but No surprises he meets with accident, this time to loose his memory, only partial Memory till his previous accident. i.e., all he remembers his life till he met previous accident. (Now he not Major Samar, does not know Akira) But he knows everything he did Ten years back, Previous Job, Previous friends, and His love Meera.
Here enter Meera again.........., Now you need to watch movie, Meri Jaan to nikal gayeeeeeeeeeee..,
Yes Audience have given up, its pin drop silence all over, Die Hard SRK fans in hall, looking out for opportunities to cheer, An I was looking around everywhere to see only restlessness.
By the time movie at final stage, it was Jab tak hai Audience. Huge rush like running for loo at the end, Finally it was over.
