Jab We Met. the movie hyped by the media as "THE MOVIE" of Shahid-Kareena split, etc, etc.
I was never going to watch this movie. but due to a friend’s recommendation I watched it in theater.
And it turned out a quite entertaining movie and I am glad that I saw it.
The story is not so new. A boy meets a girl. both not in love with each other.and then eventually fall in love.
But its presentation is quite funny.
The dialogues are very funny.
Acting is natural.
Kareena Kapoor.Well. I usually like Kareena, and she does her part quite convincingly. but in a couple of scenes, I did find her loud and irritating.But fortunately it is only for a few scenes.
Shahid Kapoor looks good as a simple boy. He enacts his part very well. Sometimes so well, that makes me wonder, was Kareena like this in real life, too? Poor Shahid! .Anyways, another good perfromance by Shahid after Vivaah!
Locations are picturesque. The Pujabi aroma, Pujab Di Khushaboo, is original and makes you smile time and again.
The movie keeps you engrossed till the end.
The music is really good. loved the songs Nagada Nagada, Mauja Hi Mauja and Tum Se Hi.
Shahid’s dance in Nagada Nagada, Mauja Hi Mauja is very beautiful.
Kareena looks stunning. and looks good with Shahid. for the first time!
There is a chemistry between them. And hence cannot help thinking that .Why did they split? .They should meet!
