I had purchased a handbag and leather wallet from Jabong.com on 9th Sep. When the Gojavas courier person contacted me on 12th Sep, I had specifically mentioned to him that there would be none at my home before 16th Sep(my family had to leave for my native place due to a personal emergency) and requested them to follow either of the options:
Option 1 – Deliver the package at an alternative address I had shared over phone
Option 2 – Attempt delivery on or after 16th Sep
Though the person said he would attempt Option 1 – the same was not done, which I can understand may not be feasible. However, there has been no attempt to deliver the package even 16th Sep onwards. Received another call from Jabong/Gojavas on 16th Sep that delivery would be made within 48 hours i.e. 18th Sep. I am still waiting for the delivery:(
I had registered a complaint, also mailed the customer care head on 18th morning requesting for expediting delivery - all I got throughout the day was empty assurances.
My package has been lying idle in Kolkata for the last 3-4 days - no one has even attempted to deliver it.truly pathetic.God knows when this will get delivered!
Even the tracking website of the courier(GoJavas) doesnt share any clue of my package
The handbag was supposed to be birthday gift for my mother(18th Sep) and Jabong has let me down completely
I am a regular user of Flipkart and Myntra - tried out Jabong only because I got a discount deal. Regret my decision
MESSAGE TO JABONG - PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR PATHETIC DELIVERY SYSTEM- YOUR WEBSITE MAY LOOK FANCY BUT THE DELIVERY SYSTEM IS PATHETIC. AND ALSO ASK YOUR CUSTOMER CARE TO ACTUALLY WORK INSTEAD OF JUST MOUTHING PLEASANTRIES AND FALSE ASSURANCES
