The thing about biographical movies is that they need to bring out a side of the story that we didnt see before. Jackie is the story of what happened after Robert F Kennedy was assassinated and the effect of it on Jacqueline Kennedy. Played by Natalie Portman, the movie revolves around an interview she gives to a journalist about her experience and what she felt after the tragic incident. The movie shows flashbacks of the events surrounding Jackie and how she was majorly concerned about her children. The plot was a bit and lacked in staging the events a bit more strongly.
Natalie Portman, an academy award winner gives a stellar performance in the movie with her accent being on point. Irrespective of what the movie lacked in the script, Portman is at her best in the movie.
The music is not that catchy and could be better as the background for the movie is so strong.
Many parts of the movie lacked a bit of decoration in terms of lighting and staging, mainly the interviews sections otherwise the assassination, the covering of the afterward events were good.
The good thing about the movie is that it gives a lot of information to the new generation about the historic and tragic event.
