What makes him alluring is that there are many stories about his divine grace! His abode in Puri, Odisha is among the most visited pilgrimages across the world.Each year, during annual Rath Yatra; when he drives in his chariot with his elder brother Lord Balbhadra and younger sister Goddess Subhadra ji; millions throng to Puri to have his glimpse.What makes this shrine a renowned one is that Lord’s idol is of Kashta( a type of wood) and it is only through very special procedure; these are prepared.Another feature of this very very holy shrine is here Lord appears with his sister and brother than his consort- Goddess Mahalakshmi ji.Being on a coast; it is very very beautiful.Well, words cannot explain about spiritual depth of this shrine .
