I am a 1st year student studying in Jain University. First of all, 80% of the kids who come and join here are cheated. They come here and are suffering mentally. Many people do not know that this institution is located in a forest(too far away from city). Availability of goods and many other things there, is very less. They told us many lies during admission. Even dogs don’t like the food here. There are many small hotels in this area. It is much better than the mess here. In terms of price, taste and cleanliness, these small shops are better. They said they would give us non-veg for 2 days in a week, but I didn’t see even a trace of it. That’s ok, it’s sometimes part of their beliefs. I am not against anyone’s faith. But the food given needs some quality and quantity. And the look on the faces of the people who serve food here is as if we are going to eat with their father’s money. Atleast, show the courtesy of charging such huge fees. This is the first time I have seen people behaving like poor people after buying so many lakhs. Even beggars have more dignity than them. Although there are many shops in this college itself, the prices of many items are as if they were made for Ambani’s children. Anyway, they charge 2x, 3x more than what you get outside. Even after making a complaint, no change can be seen from their side.
I believe this will change.
