Jallianwala Bagh is situated at just 1km before Golden temple in Amritsar. Easily accessible from Amritsar Railway station or Bus stand via Rickshaws and auto tempos.
# I saw in Bagh a sacrifice well in which many people in British time jumped and died. There are signs of bullet shells around well. There is amar Jawan jyoti light glowing 24 hours daily. A movie show is also telecast at 12 pm on Bharat Singh .There are statues of revolutionarists. Other places to visit around Bagh are Golden temple and Durgayana temple.
# There are many guest houses , hotels and dharamshalas available outside the Bagh for accommodation. Prices are low to high according to facility. The best is Sarai which is available at less price.
# Garden is well controlled by police and there is checking point at entry gate. Horse riders and constables are at duty after some distance on the road.
